Working with Government and international standard setting bodies both directly, and via other sector group associations, the ASFP endeavours to increase the quality of installed fire protection within all forms of construction.   • ASFP announces 2018 Passive Fire Protection Award winners
    The ASFP announced the winners of its 2018 Passive Fire Protection Industry Awards at the ASFP Awards Lunch at the Plaisterers' Hall in London on 7 December. The five awards were presented by BBC broadcaster Steph McGovern to companies and individuals judged to have contributed to the advancement of awareness, quality and education within the passive fire protection sector.     The ASFP welcomes the recommendations from the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, which it believes offer a brave and mature approach aimed at helping to deliver a safer built environment.
